Vehicle Detail

1947 Dodge Weapons Carrier, Military Vehicle. Body paint is very faded. Interior is in fair condition for it's age. Mileage is a guess. I am trying to retrieve the actual miles. Clear title. Nothing has been removed but it has not been started in over 10 years. Owner has had clear title since 1952... BUYER IS RESPONSIBLE FOR SHIPPING. Please feel free to ask any questions, and I will answer to the best of my ability. Clearly this is very old and has been stored for a long time. Thank You and Good Luck! On Feb-02-11 at 11:06:04 PST, seller added the following information: Sorry for any confusion. The ebay format I used pre-filled this as the previous ad (FORD).......this is an ad for a DODGE On Feb-04-11 at 12:52:44 PST, seller added the following information: I added more photos today. There is a windshield. It is intact and and stored in the bed of the vehicle. Side view mirrors also attached to windshield. There is a large spider crack on driver side (visible in photo). Copy of certificate of ownership also shown. On Feb-06-11 at 16:23:16 PST, seller added the following information: Regarding the "Data Plates" there are 5 located on the dash of this vehicle. None of it is legible. I did get some friendly advice on how to retrieve / clean it and will try to get some pictures posted tomorrow. Also; one of the tires is cracked and does not appear to hold air. The others look good, but still can not guarentee they are "street" worthy, it has been sitting a very long time.On Feb-08-11 at 11:34:56 PST, seller added the following information: Thanks for the email....it is a 6 cylinder engine (not 8)...that was also an "auto fill" that I missed..... On Feb-09-11 at 13:03:49 PST, seller added the following information: 9 Additional Pictures were posted today. I will not be posting any more (only two days left). Hopefully more questions can be answered from these photos. Pictures show close up of dash, gauges, floor and seats. The rest are of under carriage; axles, wiring etc... The close up of the "Data Plates" clearly shows that they are not oxidized but painted over. We decided to leave them as is...we do not want to damages the lettering trying to remove paint, so this will be left to the new owner/s. I have been asked if it needs to be lifted / hoisted onto a flat bed tow truck and it does. Other questions have been about spare parts and manuals. Unfortunately there are none...No Manuals or Spare Parts. I did locate a website that sells reprinted manuals, email me for that information. Please do feel free to ask any other questions. And I will try to get answers before auction ends. Thank You for All Your Interest and Questions, I am happy these cars will go to someone who will really appreciate owning them!
