It is painted a wonderful shinny black and looks very nice. The doors all shut properly and it has great lines. It started out as a light ivory car, however it was changed to black. They did a very nice job converting the car to black as there are no signs of the original light ivory anywhere. This car does have a salvage title and after very close inspection it appears this car was involved in a minor accident in the rear. This car does have some rust issues as shown in the photos. There is rust starting to appear in the front suspension pan and in some areas of the floor boards. This car still retains its original orange hood badge. In addition tis car has been fitted with amber colored front foglights. This car would be described as a nice drivers quality car. Interior: The interior of this car is original with the exception of the radio. It has been upgraded to a CD player. The car still has the original gauges, rubber floor mats(which are in very nice shape), carpets, headliner, steering wheel, visors etc. This is a very presentable interior. Engine/Transmission: This car still retains the original engine and transmission. The engine fires right up and makes good power. It is still fed by its original Solex carburetors. This car is a joy to drive. The transmission shifts through all the gears properly and does not make any weird sounds. This car is in very good mechanical order and does not have any known issues. Suspension/Wheels: Thie car still retains its original steel wheels with hubcaps. The car has new tires on it ready for a road trip. The car has a very nice solid suspension and brakes. Overall: This is a great looking and driving early Porsche 912. These are getting harder and harder to come by and this would be a great chance to own a classic. This car does come with a box of spares. Should you have any questions please feel free to phone me or email me at 925.876.1281. I am happy to answer any questions.
