Hey everyone...as many of you watchers know already, the price keeps dropping till it gets sold, about $200 per month. I think we are getting down to it so if you want the car, please contact me. First cash in hand gets it - Dave 910-2eight6 - 3161 davidandrewwelch AT gmail.com 1977 Plymouth Gran Fury Sport Suburban with 99,600 original miles. Extraordinarily clean car for the vintage. It came from NY to NC in the mid 90s with 76,000 miles on it so it's only been driven about 20,000 in the last 15 years. It's got a 6.6L 400ci gasoline engine in top condition. Black out tires, Cold A/C, original interior, dual exhaust, fold down rear seating. Loaded with rare options (high end trim level for the year) including Power Windows, Power Seats, Roof Rack, Am/FM Radio with tempermental 8 Track, Air Conditioning, Power Steering, Power Brakes, etc. Rust creeping in front door edges (see website pictures). Underside is clean. This car was truly taken care of. Great driver and a stand out beach cruiser with the wood paneling...Great for good ole American Saturday nights to the drive in, pizza and ice cream with the kids.. Lots of room in the back for camping. Tailgate swings downward or sideways. Driving this around town is fun, everyone stares and smiles when you see this family truckster. The interior looks like it sat in a garage for 30 years and noone has touched it. It's cool leather/cloth combo with a belt buckle type trim. Unbelieveable. BLACK OUT hot rod tires give this wagon some edge... probably 90% left. Custom spotlights right out of a 70s cop movie. Tempermental 8 track player and I'll throw in Hank Williams, Neil Young, Bruce Springsteen, Kiss, among others. I've also spent about $100 in vintage bumper stickers that can come with the car ( grateful dead, family feud, gotcha surf, Kennedy '80, jefferson airplane) or can be removed....I think it adds some nostalgia to the ago but to each their own. Update: I did successfully remove 2 stickers without damaging the woodgrain, you just need some heat and patience and they will peel off.... Wife is pregnant and need to get rid of toys. Come by and see a piece of history....Cash only and I'd like to leave it in good hands. Would be willing to drive and deliver as well with a deposit. I make plenty of trips to Raleigh so I could deliver and get a ride back np. Also - the front power windows are tempermental, I've opened them up and the power window motor is fine, you just need to find grommets to hold the window in place. They work fine but it could be smoother. And one of the 4 rear bumperettes on the back are rusted out. Could easily pop out if I could find a replacement.. also missing a small chrome piece of trim on the drivers side. Otherwise its a strong running awesome truck. You will have the coolest ride in town with this....Ready for surfboards on the roof rack. Price is for the truck "as-is".
