1985 Honda GL1200 GoldWing Aspencade An excellent condition touring motorcycle with only 89,000 miles. Originally new in Albuquerque NM. Receipts and owners manual notations shows this bike has stayed in the Albuquerque area since it was new. Purchased from owner #3 this last fall. Bike has been garage kept for the last six years. Condition Summary: Have ridden the bike 500 miles since all four carbs were rebuilt and synchronized to 13"Hg for cylinders 1 & 3 and 16"Hg for cylinders 2 & 4. Compression test results are 140psi and holding on all 4 cylinders. The timing belts were replaced, oil /filter change, and all liquids checked and radiator flushed and refilled with 50/50 antifreeze/water. Drive gear and drive shaft fluids drained and replaced. Brake reservoirs topped off. All the de-winterizing work is completed. Both front and rear air shocks maintain air pressure within Honda specifications. Checked the spark plugs 200 miles after carb synchronization and all 4 are properly tanned with no signs of a rich fuel condition or oil fouling. This bike runs really well and does not leak oil or water. It has been my daily driver for the last few weeks as it warms up here in NM. No evidence that the bike has ever been dropped. No damage to fairings or bags. It is a fine machine. The previous owner installed all of the chrome (Markland) and light goodies that anyone could find which makes her really visible to other drivers on our roads, especially between dusk to dawn. Accessories: - Comes with headset earphones, communication controls and cabling - Honda's CB radio - Panasonic AM/FM cassette radio - Analog (needle style) Altimeter, Digital Air Temperature (Farenheit), & Digital Charging System Voltmeter - Honda internal air compressor for front and rear shocks - A spare airline to fill up low tires - Complete Honda GL1200 toolbag and Honda tools - Extra fuses, lightbulbs, and spark plugs - Includes owners and service manuals - A folder full of reciepts where the previous owner took it in to the dealer for repairs. Also, I put my receipts in the folder. Tires are in fair condition and don't need immediate replacement. Receipt shows about 7000 miles on Elite brand for both the front and rear tires. They were replaced at the same time. Reserve price is set at fair NADA value for its condition. Anyone wanting a touring cruiser motorcycle won't be disappointed. This motorcycle is a really sweet ride. However, it is one of three motorcycles in the garage and one of these priceless beauties must leave.
