I was asked to sell this Beautiful Stingray by an old friend of mine that is 54 years old and has 5 cars and just doesn't drive it anymore. The car sits in his garage most of the time so he decided it's time to sell it to someone who can enjoy it as much as he has in the past when he had more time. I can't imagine finding another 1973 Corvette Stingray that has been babied like this one ! I took this car out to check it out and take the pictures for this auction and I was very impressed how the car handles and how smooth and powerfull it is. The STRONG 327 CID V8 motor (3959512 block casting number) is very responsive and powerful with a 650 CFM Holly Street Avenger carb. with electric choke on an original GM aluminum "Snowflake" (3932472) four barrel intake manifold and original polished aluminum "Corvette" valve covers. Sounds AWESOME too with the headers and dual exhaust system that exits through 4 chrome tips. Your friends will definately here you coming when you lay the hammer down on this beast !! The engine is backed by a smooth Muncie four speed transmission which also functions well. When you drive this car people stop, stare and point. Believe me if you like attention then this is the car for you !! When you take this car to the car shows people flock to it, WOW !! As you can see in the picture's it still has the rear steel bumpers which give it that ORIGINAL Stingray look !!! You can have your own Corvette Summer in this car !! This Stingray is nicely equipped Power Steering, B&M Shifter with hurst linkage, nice glass, wipers, four wheel disc brakes, Heavy duty Anti-sway bar in front. The STRONG 327 CID V8 motor (3959512 block casting number) is very responsive and powerful with a 650 CFM Holly Street Avenger carb. with electric choke on an original GM aluminum "Snowflake" (3932472) four barrel intake manifold and original polished aluminum "Corvette" valve covers. Sounds AWESOME too with the headers and dual exhaust system that exits through 4 chrome tips. Your friends will definately here you coming when you lay the hammer down on this beast !! The engine is backed by a smooth Muncie four speed transmission which also functions well. When you drive this car people stop, stare and point. The overall cosmetic impression of this car is VERY NICE ! The exterior RED base / clear paint is gorgeous. It is a VERY NICE base coat clear coat, cut and buffed to a beautiful finish that is bright and shiny as you can see in the pictures. The exterior paint on this car is EYE POPPING BEAUTIFUL. The black upholstery is also in new condition. The 15" Firehawk performance radial tires are brand new and check out the stock Z28 color-matched rallye wheels with original center caps and trim rings boy does this combination LOOK OUSTANDING on this Stingray. This car was done with newer style sport mirrors less than a year ago and they give it a sleek look you just don’t get with the stock chrome mirror's, and with the "Monza" headlight conversion it looks fantastic. Winning bidder must contact us within 24 hours of auction end, and make arrangements for payment at that time. We prefere a bank to bank wire transfer of funds as payment as this is the safest for you and for us. We do not accept any paypal payments. A 25% deposit is due within 3 days of the end of auction. The remainder is due within 7 days of the auction ending. If no contact is made within 24 hours we reserve the right to re-list the vehicle, sell it to the next high bidder, or sell it otherwise. Most banks and credit unions do not finance vehicles older than 1995 or with more than 100K miles. Make sure if financing, your financial institution accepts the year and miles of this vehicle before bidding. Please arrange financing prior to bidding.
Buyer is responsible for pickup or shipping of this vehicle. If you wish to have it shipped using a service we will gladly cooperate. You can locate shippers by doing a search for `auto shippers`.
