Vehicle Detail

I have a 1967 F-350 Ford 1 ton truck forsale. I bought this truck on E-bay 2 years ago in Salt Lake City Utah, it had a 390 v8, it was supposed to be able to do what a $20,000 truck would do, seller told me that it had 5,000 miles on a rebuilt motor, the problem is that they didn't bore out the cylinders and the engine failed, got hot and I lost compression in 5 cylinders of more than 50 lbs in each one. Now the truck should do what it was supposed to do for me. I now have a bored out 330 ford industrial engine, it's a big block V8 that I had built new at Car Quest auto parts in Chatsworth California to the tune of $3,000.00, it was for a 1967 4x4 F-100 ford, come to find out later the F-100 had a bent frame and I had to scrap it. This truck now has the new engine, new clutch, 4 speed trans., plus a 3 speed browning trans., rebuilt carb, rebuilt radiator, dual batterys, had to put new power steering in it because I couldn't park it with armstrong steering, now it drives like a car nice and easy, new firewall insulation, newly reupholstered bench seat, custom headliner, new floor mat( which the previous owner put in because on the drivers side there's some rust damage on the floor, he put a piece of aluminum over the damage and put the floor mat in), the inside of the cab could use a paint job, I just never got that far with, had to deal with the dead engine. It has power brakes, good winshield, new wiper blades, got the horn fixed, even got a new ringhorn for the steering wheel, has the Ford fuel tank switch which only works on the tank behind the seat, has a 50 gallon saddle tank with steps built into it and never got the sender hooked up to the switch, has a 2'x4'x18" lockable tool box with a switchable light inside, has 6 good radial tires with 70% tread left, one tire is new because driving back to LA one tire was out of round and had to be replaced at LES Shcwab in Carson City NV. The truck has power take-off hydrallic dump bed, I had to rebuild the frame on the bed as it was rusted pretty bad and I'm a journey welder, put 2 layers of 3/4" plywood down for the decking and covered it with steel so everything falls out, even had to move the hydrallic cylinder back so it would dump at a steeper angle and made it better because the hydrallic hose used to have 2 bends in it but not anymore, I put custom backup lights on it so I can see everything behind me, put cargo lights on the headache rack plus a yellow flashing strobe light, I have a bottle rack for 2 oxygen bottles and 1 gas bottle. The flat bed has removeable side rack panels that also bolt down( went over a railway crossing and it was so rough the racks bounced out of the truck so I changed that. I put an access flap on the bed so you can put hydrallic oil in the cylinder when needed. On the front fenders left side has 3-4 dings in it the otherside has damage from the previous owner, he said He just got it out of the paint shop and someone ran into it and messed up the right fender and part of the grill, I striaghtened the fender out and the grill as best that I could and extras for my truck like a hood ornament, a couple of RANGER ornaments, one for the grill and one for the glovebox, I have 2 nearly perfect left & right fenders that go with the truck that I was saving to replace the bad ones but they need white paint, I also have a 3 vol. set 1967 Ford shop manual that covers everything in this truck including the engine. Everything else works, lights, horn, flashers, I bled the brakes and the pedal is at the top, shifts great starts good has manual choke, has cheapy am/fm radio but it works, heater and defroster both work. You could fly in to Reno and drive it home. I built this truck for myself because I used to pickup scrap metal on craigslist and haul it in at $180 per ton and could do just fine until the engine crapped out on me. I also have a 1967 instrument panel that works, it just needs repainted and the truck would be more orgirinal, right now it has a 68-72 instrument panel that came with the truck. I'm selling this truck as is, no warranty but its in better shape now than when I bought it. I became disabiled in Dec 2009 and due to my old injuries, I can't work a clutch anymore. If you can't afford it, don't bid on it. If you are a long ways off and you get the truck, you can fly into Reno NV and I will pick you up at the airport and bring you to the truck so you can drive away.
