Vehicle Detail

Extremely Rare Right hand side drive mini van micro car 1992 Nissan Sentra Small Cargo (S-Cargo) Year: 1992 Make: Nissan Model: Sentra Vin Number: 1N4EB32A1NC782568 Stock Number: B0426A-1 Mileage: 98504 Transmission: Automatic Engine: 4 Cylinder Exterior Color: Artic White Interior Color: Beige Title: Other This is an extremely rare cargo model of a Nissan Sentra. Factory made, the "Small Cargo" or "S-Cargo" model was primarily used in Japan only, but has since been shipped all over the world. Designed by Nissan to be an eye-catching delivery vehicle, the car was intentionally made to look somewhat like a snail to play on the words "Escargot" and "S-Cargo". Under the disc wheel covers I have on the car currently there still are the factory original hubcaps with logos of snails on them even. I bought this car from a man in New York who imported 5 of them I believe and had to sit on them for years to pass US inspections and codes. This one had extensive mechanical problems when I bought it, as well as a missing title. Once home and newly titled, I had our cities premiere auto repair shop go through everything to make it a daily driver. Rebuild of the engine, steering rebuild, suspension, brakes, new carburetor etc... It has been my daily driver for the last 3+ years through snow, ice, whatever. I'm 6'3" tall. The car is short and narrow, but tall inside with enough headroom for a 7'tall man probably. Actual mileage of 158592 is actually in Kilometers. This converts to 98,504 miles. I used this vehicle for my business and had it fully wrapped with an alien theme. You'll see photos of the car as it is now, just white paint, as well as how it looked when I had it wrapped. Ideally this car begs to be used for advertising! I've had 4 lanes of traffic stop dead, one man almost fell out of a toll booth to see it, dozens of cars and semi's pull along side to take photos on the highway, and many people follow me home or to work just to ask about it. No problem at all to drive on the right side, if you've never done it before. Equipped with air conditioning, the compressor recently sprung some leaks and I have not fixed it as I hardly ever used the air anyway. Other than that it runs great, and handles easily. My business is a sign company, and I used an Alien theme as you'll see in the photos. It's been great, but I just don't keep the same advertising theme for too many years. I like to change things up. If I can't get a decent offer on the car I'll just wrap it with another theme and keep it, but I'd really rather move on to something else and see someone else have some fun with it. I've invested well over double my buy it now price in making sure it's mechanically sound, so you're starting off with a great ride. When I first bought the car the rear hatch had some rust issues around the hinges at top. I shipped a replacement door from Japan that was perfect though, and that is what is on the car. You can pop out a tail light and look inside where it's factory original paint though, and the rest of the car is very solid. Mechanically, most of the parts are available from your local parts store since the engine is basically a Nissan Sentra. What parts you can't find there, I have a great contact in Japan who can find anything for you and it's really not that expensive to get things here. But keep in mind, I've always kept it in great running condition and so you're starting off with a car that's been gone over thoroughly and maintained regularly. This car was my daily driver and advertising my business. I couldn't have it broken down on the side of the road somewhere! My number is on the picture on the side of the van! call me or text me at any time with your offer! Deal Sweetener! If you need you need graphics on the car, full wrap, partial wrap, whatever you need, I'll do the graphics for you at 50%DISCOUNT off normal pricing. Installed. Best materials, installed by 22 year company. Photo Gallery Questions from other members : Nissan Q: Can this be driven in USA? steering on right side ok? thanks for the questions, no problem whatsoever on the right hand drive and being legal to drive that way in the USA. Q: My wife has a small floral business and does deliveries over a 35 mile radias. What kind of fuel mileage could be expected and what kind of speed. No rocket needed here but with rising fuel prices the big van has to go. Thanks You'll notice in the engine photo that the carburetor looks very clean. It's brand new as of about 6 months and 100 miles ago. (another $800.00 or so investment at the time) I honestly have not ever checked the mileage on the car, but since it's basically a Sentra engine I would guess it in the mid-20's as far as mileage goes. The speedometer was originally in Kilometers per hour, but markings have been accurately added in for speeds up to 60 which it gets to fast and easy. On the advertising side, your wife has a "colorful" business! If you haven't already visualized this, if you wrapped this car or even partially wrapped it with floral graphics and the business name I can guarantee you nobody and I mean NOBODY will forget your business name. Seriously. If you have priced the cost of radio, or billboards, or any other type of advertising out there, the entire cost of this car will be gained back in a matter of months in advertising alone. And then it's still yours for free. Q: I would like to know the height, length, width, Horsepower of motor and weight. Size of tires and load capacity ? 137"long, 63"wide, 73"tall, 1487cc/72bhp, approx 3,000lbs, 13"wheels, and rated at 300kg which would be about 600lbs I think. I've never hauled more than a couple hundred pounds in it myself and you couldn't tell it was back there. My car had been outfitted with insulated walls so it could be refrigerated. I removed all the refrigeration stuff when I was restoring it, except for the wall behind the seats. Most of these cars do not have this wall, it's just open to the cargo area. It's nice to have it separated, but if you wanted it all open again it would be very easy to remove the wall. The rear hatch door originally had a window in it as well but it's been filled in with metal. This is also something that could be easily removed and a piece of Lexan fitted back in. Lots of options and possibilities.
