DESCRIPTION:

Our E320 is a good 2nd car or around town commuter vehicle. It looks decent, drives good and runs good, but needs work to be 100%. Most importantly, it is safe to drive and just passed our tough VA State Inspection. The paint is glossy, but it is not a great paint job. There are obvious signs of bodywork and painted-over dings around the car. There are a few areas of damage mainly on the bumpers, but the pics below will also show wider than normal gaps between the hood and fenders. The windows have a mirror finish aftermarket tint, but look good. The wheels need to be repainted, but the tires all passed inspection. The undercarriage can be seen in the pics below. You will see some slight damage that has been repaired after an accident. There is also some rust on the frame in spots, but the frame is still solid. The headlights are frosted, but still passed inspection. Inside the car looks good and only has a few areas that need repair. The headliner needs to be replaced because it is falling down badly (see pics below). The dash has a few cracks in it around the defroster, but the rest of the dash looks very good. The fabric on the front door handle pulls is coming off (see pics below). The hood release cable is broken so you have to use a rope hanging down next to the driver's legs. The dash is loose on the driver's side and the rear view mirror is loose. That's about all the problems there is inside. Mechanically, the car needs quite a few repairs, but can be driven as it is.

The needed repairs are:

• The radiator support is bent.
• The front crossmember is damaged.
• The rear subframe is damaged.
• The rocker panels are bent underneath.
• The steering boot is bad.
• The differential leaks.
• The headgasket or front cover is leaking oil.
• The motor mounts are deteriorating.
• The auxilliary fan belt is missing.
• The rear seat belt is broken.

Electronically, everything seems to work as it should. This car does need some repairs, but it can be driven as it is. It is completely safe to drive and did pass State Inspection. The repairs can be made later.
