Greetings! If you are looking for a clean and original looking 944 then this one may be worth your consideration. This a very dependable vehicle that can be driven anywhere in the country today. It's truly amazing how much impact this car has when out in the streets. I guess people are becoming nostalgic when they see one, specially in very good condition. I mean, the car is almost 25 years old! The good stuff:Again, the car is very dependable. Drives and brakes straight, AC, lights, gauges, and all electrical is in proper order, etc. Everything works except for the the windshield washing motor, electric sunroof mechanism, and power seats. These problems are very typical for these cars, and not difficult or expensive to fix except for the driver side power seat for I really don't know what it takes to fix it. The seat can still be adjusted manually so fixing it can be addressed at a later point. NOTE: Although the odometer reads 142,000 mile or so this is not accurate. The car has less miles, about 120,000, or less, but no more. The reason being is that 1 spinning number (the 3rd from the right, the 100th mile digit) of the odometer started turning at the same time some time after the car reached 113,000 miles, or so. In other words the 100th digit mile indicator is turning at the same rate per mile. Personally, I have never or heard or seen of anything like this before, but it's true! I can easily demonstrate it in person to anyone whom wants to test drive the car before the end of the listing. Still, 142,00 is still low for the age of this car! If not clear about what I just tried to explain here feel free to call me. The New Stuff: Replaced driver side lower control arm, Serviced Air conditioner and new motor flaps, New tires, $3,000+ pain job. Reconditioned wheels, Full tune up including timing belt replacement about 10,000 miles, or so ago, Recent oil change. The Not So Good Stuff: Some dings (see images), Rear passenger side bumper was his about 30 days after paint job, go figure! (see photo), Dash has a crack, and front seats as well (see photos), Hatchback shocks could use replacements, Windshield washing motor, electric sunroof mechanism, power seats don't work, digital clock does not work too. The sunroof can be removed manually, and it's fine except the electric end of it that does not rise on an angle, that's all. All this car needs is a little bit more inspiration to complete it. Fix the seats, and place a Dash-Cap that it's available via e-bay for around $100, or so! With a little more vision this 944 can be completed quite nicely! I am only selling this car because I have to, and it really hurts to let it go specially after so much heart/money went into her!
