Due to some upcoming extensive back surgery, I am selling my much loved 1976 Scout. She is highly optioned and in great condition. Paint work was done by the previous owner at great expense. Truck is rock solid- see undercarriage pics, and to sum up how solid- we broke zero bolts when replacing the suspension!! New 4" lift springs and shocks, new steel wheels, and new Dick Cepek 285/75-16 M/T tires. Original options include automatic tranny, 345 V-8, full carpet, hardtop, A/C, tilt steering wheel, and pull lever for 4WD engagement (I've been told this is extremely rare??). Interior is in excellent condition as well. The rear cargo area is full of spares and hard to find extras- all included with the Scout. Also, has original Owners Manual, full parts catalog, and full shop manual- bound and included. Hard top has never been removed, but there are new seals in the cargo area should you elect to remove it. I had hoped to do so this summer. She has been a great truck, runs well, fresh brakes, and a blast to drive. Chrome is all in excellent condition as well. Lastly, she is a very versatile vehicle- great to wheel off road, fun on a sunny day, or take her the Friday night classic car get togethers and be a stand out!! Now for the terms.
