Up for auction is a nice '75 Honda CR125M Elsinore. This bike is probably one of the most collectible vintage bikes produced and was Honda's first 125 National Championship winner.I originally purchased this bike from a vintage enthusiast. He raced the bike and toldme he only had about 3-4 rides on a fresh motor. The bike was in good shape and hadall the important pieces I wanted. It came with a real nice stock exhaust, correct'75 forks that were not rusted, and a solid frame with the kickstand mount. I had the bike restored and had to purchase numerous wheels to get rims that were notbent or cracked. I also replaced all the fenders and number plates withstock Honda parts that were also restored. The bike displays very well. The enginestill retains the correct serial numbers and has no chain damage. The kickstarter still snaps in and out and doesn't flop around. The clutch and shifting are typical Honda top notch smoothness and quality. The engine has the correct '75 carburetor, a new carb boot, and all the original filter cage equipment.The frame is unmodified and has solid swingarm with the correct chainguide. The bike retains all of its original wiring system and all the wires are attached to theframe with the correct aluminum ties from Honda. The seat has new foam and a newcover with the right Honda logo stenciled on the back. The suspension is stock Hondaissue. The forks have polished lowers with a fresh clear coat, new seals, and the original black fork caps on top. The rear suspension has nice looking shocks, but dampening is poor on them and replacement units were nowhere to be found. All of the cables and contols are new on the bike, along with the chain and almost all the fasteners are new OEM Honda. I finished the bike off with a completeset of decals on the tank and fenders.
