I am the 3rd owner of this 1971 F100 shortbox. She was originaly bought by a local farmer and after a life on the farm, the truck was parked in the weeds when the brakes and tranny failed. She was bought after a few years later by my neigbor for his son. His son did not want it, so it sat again in his backyard for years. I found the truck and have done alot of work to her. She is pretty much original with the exception of the engine. The original was swaped to a 351W by a previous owner. The engine and tranny work fine. This truck runs and drives straight. She was my daily driver until this last year when gas prices through the roof. I am selling her to replace it with a newer vehicle I can take trips with. The truck has 80,000 original miles. Tires and shocks were recently changed and are in good shape. Everything on this truck works, right down to the windshield washers. NADA and Blue Book list show this truck, in this condition to be worth over $7000. Totaly restored, the value jumps near $18000. I am seeking a fair price that will help me upgrade to a newer vehicle.
