Up for sale is a 1966 Ford Mustang coupe. Original C-code 289 2-barrel car. Absolutely 100% rust free body. No rust through in floors, trunk, around windows or anywhere else(the pictures speak for themselves).Has been stripped to bare steel and bodyworked over 40 hours put in first coats of high build primer ready to be blocked. Engine compartment sanded and painted with epoxy primer. Body is was one of the straightest 44 year old cars I have seen. Wouldn't take long to have it ready for paint. Mostly complete roller shell missing some items(instrument cluster, glove box door, heater box assembly). Has most of the trim except rocker molding. All glass there except windshield all in excellent condition(new front and rear window seals). No engine included. I do have a core automatic transmission for it and a radiator. Has brand new TMI upholstery installed on seats front and rear. Includes $225.00 COMPLETE weatherstrip and window felt kit. Has clean California title on current non-op no back fees. I realized I forgot to say in the writeup that I do have the door data tag but the drivers door is not the original door to the car. I have the original door with the data tag still attached the codes read as follows. Body Color Trim Date D.S.O. Axle Trans 65A K D2 15D 72 - 6 I have not decoded but original paint appears to be dark blue metallic and interior looks to be original saddle tan.On Jan-27-11 at 10:51:53 PST, seller added the following information: I have been asked alot about where body filler is in the car. There is filler in the drivers door, right rear quarter down low behind the tire. The front corner of the passenger fender(very light). And the rear tail panel between the tailights. A few other minor spots here and there but only to fill minor dents and dings.Other than that rest of car is laser straight steel free of any body filler. Bodywork is just roughed in close and will still need to be finessed. There are still minor dents and dings that will need to be filled. As I said the FIRST coats of high build primer have been applied. It will still need more priming filling and blocking to be ready for paint. But as I stated the body is absolutely 100% rust free no patch panels anywhere. I try to be as accurate as I can in my descriptions.
