I am relisting this 1988 Chevy Monte Carlo. To all of you who have already bid on this item, I apologize. It was brought to my attention by an astute viewer that this vehicle IS NOT a genuine SS, but rather a clone, or a vehicle modified to look like an SS. It does have the 5.0 litre Chevy V-8 that is similar to the one in the real SS. It was a project/Toy for my son. He is being deployed so I must make room in my garage. Odometer shows a little over 27K miles, but it is a 5 digit odometer, so my guess is that this is not accurate. Vehicle appears to have an inexpensive Maaco type paint job. Appears to be close to original color. Vehicle wears brand new(less than 50 miles) 20" "IROC" wheels with equally brand new tires. Engine starts right up. Revs easily. Has what sounds like a little exhaust manifold leak. Air Conditioner is not working. Am-FM CD player is included but not installed. Vehicle may not pass California Smog test due to the exhaust headers. Transmission is strong with no slipping and shifts are smooth and crisp with no hard changes. Brakes are in excellent condition. Interior appears to be original. Minor cracks in dash up near the windshield. Power seat works. Power windows work. Thank you for understanding and good luck bidding!
