Collectors get ready...up for auction is a very rare 1969 Chevrolet Chevelle SS396 300 Deluxe Post Sedan. VIN # 134279A343238. Approximately 1,400 of these rare cars were manufactured by Chevrolet. This Chevelle has been certified and authenticated by Dan Vasic (owner and founder of the 1969 SS396 300 Deluxe Post Sedan Registry). Dan has certified and registered this Chevelle as currently 1 of the 37 surviving SS396 300 Deluxe Post Sedans. It has been further certified and registered as 1 of 4 that are orginally born tuxedo black. Also this Chevelle is currently only 1 of 3 surviving 37 SS396 300 Deluxe Post Sedans that was born a column shift automatic transmission. This garage kept Chevelle has been in my family for 22 years. Throughout that time we have had a 1971 Chevelle 402 big block engine installed with brand new internals. One addition to the engine was installing an Edlebrock high rise aluminum intake manifold with a Holly 750 carb (the orginal intake manifold that came with the 402 has been saved and is included in the auction). The engine has less than 15,000 miles on it and runs great! Block ID# T0206CLB 11D132994. The transmission is not orginal to the car, however is a turbo 400 automatic. Trans ID# 500 CD-67 83346. Although this Chevelle had an orginal column shift...it has been modified to a Hurst shifter on the floor. The rear differential is not orginal to the car, however is a 12 bolt with a 3.31 posi. ID# I 3 0 CON2. This Chevelle comes with the rare and hard to find orginal aluminum trim around the door post and quarter glass.
