1969 Porsche 912 Coupe restored with 100% original flawless gaps and 112K actual miles. Numbers-matching car. Before restoration, this 912 was a well-maintained solid California car with 100% original paint and absolutely flawless gaps all around. The entire restoration was too complicated to recount here. However, it was dismantled (windows, doors, trunk, deck lid, bumpers, all accessories removed) and expertly prepped for paint, including full hand-blocking of the entire car. No panel replacement was necessary anywhere on the car. It was sprayed with primer sealer, then multiple layers of the original color paint and clear-coat were applied. Following the paint application, all panels were wet-sanded and buffed, then all rubbers and seals and most accessories were replaced new upon reassembly. New carpets were installed, front seat were reupholstered, dash redone, and too many other interior details to list. The excellent outcome was helped by the fact it was an excellent solid, 100% original-paint, arrow-straight car to begin with. The doors shut with a resounding click only the Porsche factory could reproduce. The pictures speak for themselves.
