You are bidding on a nice low mileage 2001 Chevy G3500 1 ton cargo/cutaway van powered by the dependable 6.5 liter TURBO diesel and automatic overdrive transmission. YES THIS IS A G3500/G30, EBAY DOES NOT HAVE A LISTING FOR IT SO I WAS FORCED TO PLACE IT IN THE G20 SECTION. THIS VAN HAS BEEN OWNED AND MAINTAINED BY THE U.S MILITARY AND HAS ONLY 48,505 MILES ON IT!! They use these vans primarily to transport people and cargo to and from aircraft. Carfax verifies the clean title and actual mileage on this one (click the CARFAX emblem below the pictures to see the entire report for free). PLEASE LOOK AT THE 80 PLUS PICTURES I HAVE POSTED BELOW. I ALSO INCLUDED ALL THE MEASUREMENTS I COULD THINK OF BELOW. PLEASE LET ME KNOW IF THERE ARE ANY MEASUREMENTS OR PICTURES YOU NEED THAT I HAVE NOT PROVIDED. The exterior is in good shape with NO RUST AND NO BODY DAMAGE ON IT. This van has been in west Texas it's entire life so there is no rust anywhere. There are some minor rock chips and scratches here and there, but nothing major. The paint is still in good shape. These vans have a common problem of the door cracking at the back base of the windows (see pictures). About 80% of them I have owned have this problem. It doesn't cause any issues, but I can have both doors repaired for 150 each if you want. The box is a VERY well built Aluminum and fibreboard box by Grumman/Olson. It is lightweight but very strong. The box has locking rear and side doors on it. The Firestone Transforce H/T tires have about 60% tread left on them and are wearing evenly and smoothly. The seats are in great shape with no holes or rips in them. The rubber floor and headliner are in good shape. The dash is in good shape. The windshield has no cracks. The van obviously has not been smoked in. The van has both front and rear heat and front air conditioning.
THE MILITARY HAS A VERY STRICT SERVICE SCHEDULE FOR THESE VANS AND KEEPS THEM IN TOP MECHANICAL SHAPE. STILL, I have had the vehicle inspected by a mechanic. He found it to be in good mechanical shape with only normal wear. I have had the filters, fluids and belts all inspected and serviced as needed. THIS VAN HAS BEEN EXTREMELY WELL MAINTAINED AND SERVICED AND NEEDED VIRTUALLY NOTHING AT ALL. IT HAS NO LEAKS OR DRIPS AND DOES NOT SMOKE AT ALL. The transmission shifts out smoothly and solidly. It is ready to be driven anywhere and be put right to work. All the electronic equipment works like new. The heater is warm and toasty. I have sold over 100 of these vans and driven thousands of miles in them. They will run 80 mph no problem and will get you 20 mpg at 65 mph. Most people report averaging around 18-20 mpg over the life of the van. There are just no known problems with this vehicle. I take pictures of all my vehicles as they are when they come to me. I don't detail them and shine them up to hide stuff in the pictures. The pictures of the underneath show you the normal road dust and the fact that there is NO RUST.
