1970 Honda QA50 QA 50

You are bidding on: A very cool and all original 1970 Honda QA50. I just bought this from the original owner who has had it stored in his garage since new. He said it ran, but I have not tried to start it because it needs carb work and it is missing the brake levers. It turns over and there is spark and compression. the gas tank seems to be clean and still smells like fresh gas. Overall, this little guy is in pretty good condition with the exception of the items I have already mentioned. It has the original tires on it, so new ones are in order, and the original seat which could be repaired. My guess is that the original tank was replaced with a green one and given a bad red paint job, but the tank is in nice restorable condition. The rubber tank strap is still in place. The footpegs seem to be straight as is the kick stand. The handlebars are straight and rust free. The rear fender is in very good condition with no cracks or repairs. It does have the usual scuffs and scratches. The front fender has one clean crack that could be repaired, but otherwise is in good condition. The only thing missing that I can see is the air cleaner, tail pipe and the tools. I just installed an NOS kick start and rubber I have a very nice original heat shield for the exhaust that will go with the bike. The screws need to be drilled out of the header pipe to install the heat shield because they were broken off. I will not charge anything to disassemble the bike and box it up for shipping, but will charge what ever it costs me for shipping. My guess is that it will take 2 or 3 boxes at roughly 50.00 a piece.
