For sale is our 2002 Honda Accord LX. My wife and I bought it new in Nashville TN in August 2002 and have owned it ever since. We hate to sell this car as it's like a part of the family. Unfortunately, we have outgrown it. The car is to small for us to travel with two children and two dogs. We recently bought a Sliverado 2500HD to replace both the Accord and the Dodge W150 we're about to list. Overall condition is very good, it has a few parking lot dings, the worst on the driver side front fender. We put four new tires on it just a few weeks ago, the battery was replaced in December 2009. I put new brakes on the car last year and changed all the drivetrain fluid. The windshield was replaced about two years ago after a chip spread from the cold. I have all new belts for it included as well as a spare hubcap, and a repair manual. The car has never been wrecked though two years ago a truck hit another truck behind us into us. There was no damage to the vehicle other than a scuff on the bumper. The car is currently titled in Colorado, I will gladly provide a Bill of Sale with the car if the buyer's state requires one. This has been a great car for us, it has never broken down or left us stranded. I wish we could keep it but with six vehicles (including two old Trans Am's), we just don't have the room. If the buyer is from out of state and wishes to pick up the vehicle, I will gladly pick them up from the Colorado Springs airport. I have no problem taking the car anywhere in the Colorado Springs area to a shipping facility. I would be willing to trailer it anywhere between Albuquerque and Denver for gas and coffee. If this doesn't apply, please contact me prior to bidding or I will cancel out any suspicious bids.On Jan-11-11 at 12:02:58 PST, seller added the following information: I do have new belts (timing, a/c, ps/alt) for the car and they are included and currently in the trunk with a Haynes manual. I bought them awhile back with hopes/plans of changing them during my wife's Christmas break as she is a teacher. Unfortunately, weather and our travel plans didn't let that happen. We ended up buying the Silverado mentioned above while in Denver visiting my wife's family right after Christmas. We didn't know at the time we were going to buy a vehicle, but we found a deal we couldn't pass up. With that said, Honda calls for the timing belt to be changed at 105,000 miles and NLT 120,000 miles. If someone local buys the car, I'll gladly change the belts when time/weather allows. I am a retired Army mechanic and have changed timing belts before on other cars so it's not a big deal for me. Other potential buyers, I will credit/refund $150 towards having the timing belt replaced.
