Vehicle Detail
This is a very nice running, unmolested, single owner CB750, with a clear title in Flake Apricot Red. It has had a recent tune-up with carbs cleaned, new filter and oil, and fresh rubber lines installed. Side covers are in mint condition with no cracks or stress marks and paint is not faded. Tank is in good condition with no dents, no rust, very clean inside, original paint, and a minimal amount of fading on top (photos show a scratch on right side of tank and striping flake-off on left side of tank). Oil pressure gauge has been installed by original owner and all gauges and lights work properly. Seat is original and in excellent condition - no rips, no scratches, no cracking, and padding is firm. Front forks are solid and straight, suspension is good, no leaks around the forks seals and rear shocks are firm. Engine has no leaks and idles nicely. Transmission shifts smoothly and does not slip. Has working electric starter and kick start. Pipes are original and in almost perfect condition - no pitting and shields are mint. #2 pipe side stand bottom left has two rust holes located at the back end near the baffle - a replacement pipe from a 1969 sand-cast model 750 will be included in the sale. All pipes, including the replacement, have the original baffles in tact. Front fender is in good condition with no pitting or rust, but has a couple dents - fender stay is in very good condition, straight, and has no pitting or rust. Rear fender is perfect. Headlamp bucket is in decent condition, displaying a few dents. Bars are original and in excellent condition, as are the mirrors. Switches are perfect and function properly. Rims and spokes are in mint condition with no pitting, scratches, rust and original tires are mounted (will need to be replaced). Starter is strong, ignition has been replaced, but original ignition and keys come with the bike. Original tool kit and operator's manual are located in the seat compartment. The bike is located in Indianapolis, Indiana. Delivery of the bike can be made within a 350 mile radius at a cost of .35 cents a mile, otherwise buyer is required to secure their own shipping and responsible for any related expenses. Buyer will pay $500 within 24 hours of the auction closing. The remainder of the money will be paid within a week of the end of the auction. Shipping of the bike must be arranged within this time. Interested parties may feel free to contact seller with questions, however please read the description thoroughly before doing so. Thank you!
