I am selling this car for a friend who's husband passed away before he could complete it. The main body of car is a Tempest, but the front clip is a 65 GTO. It does need paint. Have been driving car around town and handles well, also has plenty of power. In prior add engine size was misstated, after checking on casting numbers found that the engine is a 454 and not a 427. Engine: 454 Big Block V-8, 470 cu.inch, 450 HP Dino tune BB Chevy Large oil pan Roller Rockers M/T valve covers (marked 427) Edelbrock intake Holly duel feed carb Headers Transmission: Muncie 4-speed (M21-?) Hurst floor shifter 57 Olds rear end 3.23 Positraction with high strength axles ET wheels (front 15 x 7, rear 15 x 8.5) 11" front disc brakes, rear drum brakes (possible line lock) Power steering Heave duty sway bars front & rear Enterior: New front seat covers, foam cushions, head liner & carpet are still in boxes in trunk Air conditioned (after market) Electronic information center (gauges-speedo, mileage, battery, oil/temp pressure, fuel pressure, engine vacuum) Round key security lock (locks hood, ignition & brakes) AM/FM cassette deck Dash has some screw holes and needs to be painted Car appears to have minor rust damage below rear window under vinyle top but does not go through, also has minor rust on both quarter panles behind rear wheel . car is being sold as is.
