ASK QUESTIONS BEFORE BUYING!! This car is being re-listed due to the prior buyer that hit the "Buy it now" backing out of the sale! First he said that his son hit the buy it now then that he wasn't gonna buy it because i didn't mention that the left front windshield had a crack in it! What are you gonna do?? This time around....I ask that you ask any questions that you may have before hand....Thanks! OK Here's your chance to own a Very Rare! and fully accessorized 1952 Pontiac Chieftain deluxe series 27 "Tin Woody" or "Tin Woodie" station wagon which has an L head 8 cyl. motor in it. Very solid, complete and all original...These Pontiac's were a step up from the Chevy tin woodys and had more deluxe features and trim from the factory. This is a list of factory accessories that my wagon has on it (I might have overlooked a few accessories because i am writing this off the top of my head but here is a list of accessories i do know my car has on it, if you'd like me to check for any other just ask) 1. Factory Turn signal assembly (needs blinker arm that screws on but assembly is attached to steering column) 2. Drivers side "Guide" spotlight with side view mirror 3. Day /Night mirror 4. 7 vacuum tubed deluxe radio along with dash speaker (only missing radio knobs) 5. Under dash mounted Tissue Box 6. Under hood emergency service light 7. Front "High" grille guard 8. Deluxe interior with upholstered Door panels and headliner (still has door pulls and trim attached) 9. Full belt line trim (as oppose to the stubby Chevy belt line) along with full side trim. 10. Cigarette Lighter and ash tray (missing cigarette lighter but they are e-bay all the time) 11. Automatic "Hydro-matic" transmission 12. Dual "pivot" taillights with optional dual reverse lights attached (very rare and sought after) 13. Deluxe under dash heater system 14. Deluxe steering wheel 15. Dash Clock 16. Original "Oil Bath" air cleaner 17. Front bumper "wing tip" wrap around's (looks like back ones were taken off at one point) 18. Was equipped with original Visor but Previous owner kept it. 19 Factory dash mounted Traffic View finder above speedo 20. It was equipped with the "Indian Head" hood ornament from the factory but is missing. 21. L head 8 cyl. motor (not running but Motor does turn freely) 22. "under seat" deluxe heater. Car is missing the two rear seats (as usual but i have a friend who duplicates the frames) and the drivers side rear door window is broken and the left front windshield is cracked, but the car does come with original keys and clear title. Original headlight rings are in the car. The only rust (rot) i found on car was a tiny little hole (about an inch) in passenger rear corner (see added pic) and drivers side floor pan will need to be replaced (easy fix see pic). This car has great patina and can make an excellent family car project. I added in some pics of the tailgate hinge area (inside & out) and i also ripped out all the original carpet to show how solid the floors and spare tire well are. (rear half of the floor is solid wood from front of back seat to the tailgate) $6500 Or Best Offer Cash Money only...No Trades!!! NOTE: The Restored Tin Woody pics has nothing to do with my ad and is just used as reference to show what this one could look like when finished. www.woodgrainer.net is a resource you can use to get all the woodgrain done on this car. They are the ones that did the restored Wagon in this ad.
