Beautiful running, driving, stopping truck. It had an older restoration done on it when I bought it. Since then I have had the gas tank completely redone, bad glass replaced, new wood in bed, carb rebuilt, new grill parts, Generator rebuild and new regulator installed. The restoration is not a show level of work. This is a driver and looks great from a few feet away. Don't think the paint was actually ever buffed out but it looks good as is. There is one crack in paint on drivers front fender in photos. Guessing rock hit inside fender to do it but not sure. All glass is in good shape, windows roll up/down. Doors open/close normally. Mechanically this thing runs wonderful. The flathead starts right up and runs/sounds as it should. It shifts in all gears normally. Tires have only a few miles on them. Things that need work: exhaust has about had it. Looks like new wiring was put in but never completely finished connecting some of the lights. Wiper motor never installed. I have never driven it at night or in the rain. Previous owner told me that this was originally from Austin Texas and used on a farm when he found it. He had a local shop redo the truck, like I said an average job. He had it for 10 years and I have had it for one. It does have some things that are not pictured: Center hood stainless strip, front bumper, electric wiper motor as well as original vacuum one. If the new owner lives in Texas the original 1947 license plate goes with it, if not it will hang in the bar. I recommend if you live nearby come and take it around the block and kick the tires. If there is anything in particular you would like a photo of just ask. This is a great running and looking truck that can be driven as is. Clear title.
