Vehicle Detail
Selling my toy as I no longer give her enough attention as I used to..........priced for quick sell. Below are the specifics: 1982 Porsche 911 SC Carrera 3.0L (black w/ tan interior), black tint, polished Fuches, clean paint with some slight imperfections (view pictures minor) (needs a good buff). Runs good and looks clean throughout. According to the Car check report online it says vehicle was assembled in Germany. AutoCheck report that is attached ranks this car above average compared to other Porsche 911's that are listed on Ebay! MECHANICALLY: Complete engine rebuild & new clutch all within 25k miles, manual transmission rebuild (less than 3k miles ago), (all receipts - Total combined $13.5k not including these items that have also been replaced within 3k miles: new fuel pump, rebuilt ignition control, fuel filter, & fuel accumulator. Brand new battery as of Dec 31st 2010. Good Brakes & tires w/ good tread remaining. New shocks, bearings, joints, shocks, shortened shifter, distributor cap, within 5k miles + Many replacement parts w/ all documentation receipts & history to the car. (182k original miles but 25k of all major parts Motor & Trans & Clutch). INTERIOR: CD player w/ good sound system, headliner was replaced about 5 years ago and is in excellent condition, excellent Seats replaced covers 3 years ago, dashboard (no cracks) are also in excellent condition (see picture). The carpet is clean and was well taken care of. Overall interior is in excellent condition. EXTERIOR: Black paint with clear coat, the Rubber & Trim was replaced about 5 years ago, the hood has normal wear on it from minor rock chips but the car is always garaged. I have had the car inspected by a mechanic and family who are familiar with cars and was told that they could not see any rust on the vehicle or any indication that it's been in any accidents, as the body is straight. There are some minor imperfections that may need some touch up, but I don't think it would make sense to re-spray the car in my opinion. I think it just needs a good detail. The wheels are polished Fuches and are in good condition. Note some of the imperfections in the paint but what can you expect it's a 30 year old sports car. Overall body is in good to excellent condition in my opinion. OWNERSHIP: I believe I am the 3rd owner of the vehicle but not 100%. The owner whom I purchased it from bought it from an owner that I have receipts dating back since 1997. I have owned the vehicle for about 2.3 years. I believe the Porsche has been it's entire life in southern California except during it's infancy according to the Car Check Report it says it was assembled/born in Germany. RECEIPTS/ MAINTENANCE HISTORY: Yes, I have all documentation of all major receipts along with the items listed above. WHAT IT NEEDS: 1) Sunroof works but is off track and may need an adjustment - quoted $300 to repair.2) Missing driver side door pocket. 3)AC does not work (I guess it's very rare that any of these classic Porsche's AC work - and when they get repaired they stop working again) ADDITIONAL REQUESTS: Should anyone have additional picture requests please feel free to email me of specific photo request that you would like me to take and I can see what I can do. *Also throwing in mint condition vintage Carrera Porsche Design sunglasses - that are being sold on Ebay used for $200. **NOTE FROM THE SELLER**By Bidding on this vehicle you agree to pay a $1,000 deposit within 24 hours after the winning bid, which will go towards the final purchase price of the vehicle with the remaining amount due prior to shipment.
