1951 Ford F1. Complete off-frame restoration. Original rebuilt 239 Flathead V-8, with Aluminum Edlebrock Heads, new valves, and original rebuilt 3-speed manual transmission. This truck is like brand new--new chrome bumpers, mirrors, new gauges, etc. Interior is restored to original condition. Pick up was originally purchased new at Triangle Ford in Brookneil, Virginia by Carlton Wingfield. He later sold the pickup to L. H. Williams, who later sold the pickup to the 3rd owner, Marvin Tuck. Mr. Tuck owned the truck for over 20 years and is the one that did most of the recent restoration. I purchased the pickup through a broker that represented Mr. Tuck. I have done some final minimal restoration. This truck has not seen any rain or outside sun since I purchased it accept for the rare times I drive it. This truck is like brand new--inside and outside. There is nothing to be done other than drive it and enjoy it. The Green Apples paint color makes it stand out from other vehicles. I entered the pickup in a large Houston car show this past summer and won the antique pickup division.
