If you bid you may have bought it because this auction has NO RESERVE!!! This is a one owner local trade. It was sold by us when new. The previous owner reported the vehicle accelerated unexpectedly. I think the claim was that when he pressed on the brake the Escalade failed to slow down. I truly believe that something happened but we have been unable to duplicate that condition within our service department. Our service department finds the vehicle to be operating as designed.No codes where stored in the vehicles computer that would indicate any related malfunction. One factory rep suggested that possibly a foot or floor mat was stuck in between the brake pedal and the accelerator. Whatever did take place though prompted the previous owner to trade the Escalade back in to us, as he was scared of the vehicle.. He did purchase an identical unit though, just a 2011 version, which proves the Escalade is a phenomenal vehicle that he was not willing to live without. I wanted to make note of the said event in advance of repurchase. This is a one owner local trade. It was sold by us when new. The previous owner reported the vehicle accelerated unexpectedly. I think the claim was that when he pressed on the brake the Escalade failed to slow down. I truly believe that something happened but we have been unable to duplicate that condition within our service department. Our service department finds the vehicle to be operating as designed.No codes where stored in the vehicles computer that would indicate any related malfunction. One factory rep suggested that possibly a foot or floor mat was stuck in between the brake pedal and the accelerator. Whatever did take place though prompted the previous owner to trade the Escalade back in to us, as he was scared of the vehicle.. He did purchase an identical unit though, just a 2011 version, which proves the Escalade is a phenomenal vehicle that he was not willing to live without. I wanted to make note of the said event in advance of repurchase. I will require signed acknowledgement of GM'S assistance in said matter,as the Escalade was reacquired with assistance of General Motor's Exchange Program, which allows for exchange of the vehicle.
