I recently acquired this 1989 T-Bird Super Coupe on a trade for my F-350 4X4 Powerstroke. The owner was a tried and true Ford guy and had been the owner of this Bird for a few years, driving it almost daily. The miles aren't too extreme, only 123,000. The car has all the usual features of the Super Coupes, but this one does not have the sunroof. The dark blue exterior paint is overall very nice and the body panels are dent and rust free, with the exception of some minor fender damage to the left front that I will illustrate in the attached images. The interior (blue leather) has taken some extreme damage from the sun. From what I've seen, the leather packages in these cars don't fare too well with age. The carpet, panals and headliner, as well as the REAR seat are in pretty nice condition. The dash has 3 or four significant cracks in the top pad, again, as most of these seem to. It as a nice and fairly new JVC CD unit in-dash, works well. The heat is hot, and the a/c seems to be blowing cold also. All power features seem to be functioning properly also. The engine does not smoke and runs strong. Supercharger is making plenty of boost and it is fast and strong running. The transmission shifts as it should with no slipping. The is a slight bit of idler pully noise, but nothing serious. The car has the factory alloy wheels with less than average tires, although the are a matched set of four. Also, the car is equipped with a K & N Filter set-up. I have way too many projects in the garage already and just don't have any additional time or money to devote to bringing this one back to perfection. I want to see this car go to someone who appreciates the significance of the model and what it will be worth in the future years. It is, no doubt, a musclecar of the late 80's...........and will be a classic piece of Ford history.
