This is a 1972 Chevelle SS . we have spent around $12.000 dollars on this car .This was going to be a project that my father and I were going to do together. We bought the car about 7 years ago in New Mexico. the car started life as a REAL " SS " solid rust free car . the original color was orange with white interior. black half top , small block with a automatic. At some point in its life it was converted to a 4-speed car. our plan was to put a 454 in it. we took the car to a body shop who specialized in the restoration of muscle cars. I was transferred with my job out of state . so the car was at the body shop for almost 5 years. My father become very ill and is now bed redden and unable to do much. I transferred back home to help take care of him. I went to check on the car and found out that the body shop had gone out of business. after getting the car back home we found the there was several parts missing and no way to get them back they were simply gone. we paid upfront for the work so we already lost a ton of money on this car. So our loss is your gain. that’s the history of the car . now here is what you will get. The miles shows 17165 miles the real miles are unknown,no motor or transmission . the car was a rust free car to start with . ,bumpers front and rear were re chromed.The paint is new Yellow with a touch of pearl the gloss black stripes are pained on , (not tape). the top is new but I really don't like it . the carpet is new the seats are reupholstered using original seat covers and foam from "Year One " new door and rear panels . new headliner and sun visors . new dash pad, new upgraded but correct 3- spoke SS chevelle steering wheel with horn button , new door seal plates . new grille and emblems , new side SS emblems, new wheel lip molding. has the original newly painted rally wheels. the car has been rewired with a new wiring kit .It has a 12 Bolt posi rear end .. like I said before the body shop has lost many parts ,,we don't have the money to finish it so we are auctioning the car AS-IS . with nothing promised what you see is what you get. this is a more then a great start its 80% done for prime year "Real not a clone SS Chevelle" muscle car. the hard stuff is done , wouldn't take alot to finish.. the what missing I know for sure is some of the small chrome on the dip molding , fender wheels, front turn lights, rear valance panel , rear marker lights .the brake and clutch pedals. may be some other items. we do have the drive shaft and a clear title. we are not interested in trading for anything. and we can not finance it for you. shipping is the buyers responseability . you must email us if you have less then 20 feedbacks. a $500.00 deposit with Pay Pal due at auctions end ( deposit only from Pay Pal ) . the balance due with in 5 days of auctions end ..Cashiers Check, Cash. all funds must clear our bank before the car leaves. please feel free to email with any questions. thank you for looking.
