1969 Plymouth Road Runner, 383 cubic inch motor, 335 h.p., with 4 speed trans. The motor's serial # matches the VIN # of the car. Driveable but needs restoration. Needs some metal replacement and some repair. Approximate total cost of new panels needed to make it show quality would be about $1600. This would include rear quarter panel skins, hood, trunk pan, and rear window deck panel. The floors seem to be in good shape as they were factory undercoated. One small hole, about 4"x4", is evident on the right front floorpan and has been patched by the previous owner. It has original factory wheels and a 8 3/4" positraction rear with a 3:55 gear ratio. It has drum brakes on all 4 wheels. The motor was rebuilt by the previous owner, [who worked at a dealership], at about 15,000 miles ago, and a new clutch disc and pressure plate were installed at that time. It has the ORIGINAL BENCH SEAT and has power steering. THIS IS NOT A CLONE ! Pics include the numbers on the fender tag, although the actual tag was in rough shape because the previous owner tried to sand blast it. The serial # indicates it is an actual ROAD RUNNER. With some TLC this auto can be a very desirable, scarce collectable.
