Vehicle Detail
Hey Craigslist. I have a 1972 CHEVROLET K-5 Blazer for sale, it has been in our family for almost ten years now and has been in storage for about three. It holds a clean california title and have pink slip in hand.It was orginally bought for off-road project but never got time to finish it. I drove it on the road for 3 years and it never left me on the side of the road or broke down, SOLID TRUCK. With a little bit of cosmetic work this could be the perfect truck for daily driving or a weekend warrior. Specs: Speedometer reads 65,000 miles, i believe it to be the orginal mileage we have never tamper with it and the previous owner had not touched it. The truck was driven about 6,000 miles in the ten years we owned it and the pink slip reads "Original Miles" Brand new 340 HP 350 Small Block Crate engine installed less than 100 miles ago, Dropped engine in LAST WEDNESDAY, 5 year or 50,000 mile warranty from Manufacturer (receipts) All new belts, hoses, motor mounts, and Optima battery 4 speed munci was swapped out for a brand new 700r4 w/overdrive a few years ago by a professional shop, no more than 500 miles on it, full swap with tranny cooler, etc (have receipts) 1 ton rear axle, heavy duty driveshaft, and 205 transfer case 35'' Pro Comp all Terrains (less than 500 miles) on 15'' steel wheels, 90% tread left Disk brakes up front and drums in back Custom Flowmaster exhaust with chrome side pipes Body is incredibly straight some minor scratches but no more than an inch and could be buffed out Interior has been fully Rhino lined including tailgate, bed sides All new weather stripping around doors, windows, and hardtop Racing seats w/ lap belts installed and 1972 center console intact Hard top in good condition, new glass, interior lights work, needs new lift gate hinge, no real damage, small chip on very top could be easily fixed Sony head unit installed with two 6'' speakers in the front and two 6''x9'' in the back Window tint all around 2-way Viper alarm with automatic power door locks All gauges work Headlights work simultaneously with fog lights in custom made bumper Signals and brakes lights work Original A/C truck, previous owner converted to just heater, was disconnected by previous owner, I have gotten quotes from shops for as low as 300 for a whole new system, or you can fix yourself. Bed is rhino-lined however it does have quite a few holes from a roll bar I removed from the truck bed, I would put carpet throughout the truck if I was to buy it. I know I am forgetting stuff but best thing to do is just ask, and I should be able to answer most questions but I tried to detail as many things as I could KEEP IN MIND this is not a show truck by any means, it could with the right amount of work become one, this truck is 95% rust and cancer free (drivers side rocker panel has some bubbling). However, I haven't used it as a daily driver for almost three years now until recently so it could use some TLC. Whether you plan on using off-road only or for a daily driver this truck could serve either purpose. This is the first time the truck has been on the market and I am looking for a good new home for it with some that will take great care of it and appreciate it like I have.
