Vehicle Detail
This is a 1962 Mercury Colony Park Wagon (Woody). It is a 9 passenger wagon. It has a 390 engine and an automatic transmission. It was a factory air car with power seats, power windows, power steering, and power brakes. This is a running driving car. I bought the car with no motor or transmission. I then bought a 1961 Mercury Monterey and used the motor and transmission out of it. I have driven the car for 2 years around town and to car cruises as far as 250 miles away and never had any trouble with it. I rebuilt the front end and put new exhaust and brakes on it. All the glass is good. The car had California tags when I got it and license receipts up to 1992. I own a paint and body shop and have done 90 percent of the body work. The car was very solid with no rust or any major body damage. The car is real straight but there is still one spot on the passenger rocker panel that needs to be pulled, it's not bad it looks like the car jumped a curb and dented it. I have added a picture of the rocker panel so you can see the extent of the damage for yourself. I have all the chrome and trim pieces for the car including all the wood grain trim, I've added a picture of one piece of the wood trim to show you the condition. The bumpers and chrome would need to be rechromed to be nice. The interior needs redone but it does have new carpet. Currently I have made some wood door panels for it but I do have the original door panels with the power window buttons. The car is a factory power windows car but the motors are bad so I put manual regulators in it but I do still have the power regulators. I have the air compressor but never put it on. I also have all 4 original hubcaps. Car has good Texas title. I really hate to think about selling the car, I really like it and you never see another one, but I recently bought a 1930 model A pickup that I'm dying to hot rod and unfortunately it will be built at the expense of this car. The car is for sell locally and can be sold and taken off ebay at any time. I'm sure there are areas that I didn't cover so it you have anymore questions give me a call at 806-672-2022. My name is Wayne.
