***RARE*** 1969 Firebird Sports Coupe 6 cylinder overhead cam 3 speed transmission White w/white vinyl top *ALL ORIGINAL* THIS VEHICLE HAS SPENT THE LAST 26 YEARS IN MY GRANDPARENT'S BARN IN IOWA. PURCHASED IN THE FALL OF 1978 - BELIEVED TO BE A TWO OWNER VEHICLE. NOT SURE WHETHER NUMBERS MATCH BUT IN THE LAST 32 YEARS ONLY THE CARBURATOR AND STARTER HAVE BEEN REPLACED. TO THE BEST OF MY KNOWLEDGE THIS CAR HAS NEVER BEEN INVOLVED IN AN ACCIDENT! HAS NOT BEEN STARTED SINCE IT WENT INTO STORAGE. NEEDS A GOOD CLEANING AND SOME TLC BUT WOULD BE A GREAT CAR ONCE AGAIN! This model can be identified by the "Overhead Cam: 4.1liter" badge that appears on the rear edge of the bulge on the hood. In the photo it appears that the fabric is torn up but in actuality that is a fake fur rug (oh so 1970s) It is just placed on top of the vehicle fabric.
