Hate to part with this beautiful little bug we nicknamed "Ole Blue". I started this project 5 years ago with my daughter and we hae completely rebuilt this car from the ground up. We lifted the body and installed new floor pans, rust proofed and new seams, and rust proofed the main beam. The engine was rebuilt by certified mechanic in Louisville, Kentucky. He installed all new cans and rods, cylinders and all. My daughter drove this car back and forth to college for 2 years and got excellent gas mileage out of it. Still has all the original parts, except what was needed to rebuild it. Has new tires and brakes. The only thing this needs is a new carb. the old one on it is used and I believe the jets inside are bad. Priced a new carb for around $200.00 off of several sites. Reason we are parting with ole blue is we really need the money. My wife has lost her job, and we have had to move and we just really need the money or I wouldn't think of selling this cute little bug. It came from Alabama and was in bad shape when we first got it. It even had mold growing in the windows. Will answer any question I can for you.
