Vehicle Detail
1986 Porsche 930 (Turbo) Slant Nose – Slant Nose option in 1986 was a $23,000 add-on. Not Sonderwunschprogramm car, if it were the auction would start in the $60k range. The 930 is proposed by some as a street legal 935. Paul Newman Raced a Porsche 935 Not a 911 Turbo THIS IS A TRUE 930 TURBO! 57k Original miles 3.3 4 speed Guards Red Always Garaged Clean Records / Title 2nd owner All Original Except: $8,500 Porsche Engine Shop Bill in 2010 SACHS Kevlar racing clutch – 39 lbs lighter and shaved - 2010 K27 Turbo – 2010 Engine pulled and all seals and gaskets replaced to eliminate all leaks (a historical 50k mile job on these cars - You will not have to worry about it - Just Drive and Enjoy) Fuel Injectors - New Oil Changed 1 BAR Spring Spark Plugs and Wires New $2,600 Stereo Upgrade 2 amps DIAMOND Pioneer Premier Tuner 12 speakers total in car Nothing was modified on the interior – You only see the Original 4 speaker covers. On Dec-07-10 at 20:43:46 PST, seller added the following information: SEATS: The seats Are original this was a very rare option that was ordered originally at factory. All of the Porsche clubs have commented on the fact that that was a very rare upgrade. PAINT: All paint is 1986; this car has never had any damage, no repairs on the entire body - NO door dings - No contact with cars, car doors, shopping carts, hail, etc…but has slaughtered many bugs at high speeds. There is a scratch in the paint by the fuel door, being a slant nose with a low front profile you will see some rock chips that were touched up by the original owner, there is one raised spot on rear trunk where the lid was lowered and the oil cap was sitting on the engine rail. I would rate the paint for luster, appearance and condition as a 9 if you take into the consideration that it is a 1986 I would have to rate it higher. I however am not a paint specialist. All rubber seals on window, between panels, door seals, and sunroof are soft and great. This car has only spent one night outside that was when I drove it home from where I bought it and I had it covered that night. Read the description about the work I had done on this car, you will probably never have to do anything but love her and drive her. This is not a Werke 1 Sonderwunsche if it were it would be listed for $60,000 and up. The conversion was performed in California. At all Porsche events I have taken this car to, the attendants have praised this as the BEST Steelnose conversion. This car gets the most attention at Porsche Events and clubs than many of the cars there! CLUTCH: Gearbox shift excellent. Syncros excellent. And oh what clutch SACHS Racing Kevlar shaved and 39lbs lighter. No Leaks at all. I paid a heavy price to have the engine pulled and seals and gaskets replaced. No Curb Rash – I would still be crying if it had it.On Dec-11-10 at 23:48:25 PST, seller added the following information: AutoCheck Score 77 7 POINTS ABOVE AVERAGE
