This is a 1946 F1 Ford Half- ton Pickup. It is powered by a 302 Ford V8 small Block with a C4 automatic transmission and a Ford 9" 3.50 gear rear end. The front suspension is from a 1980 Volare with torsion bar suspension ,disc brakes and power steering. The 1946 ford frame is complete with the Volare suspension added to the original frame. The truck runs and drives great. The engine and trans runs & sounds strong with Flow Master Dual Exhaust. This is a older restoration and is a great driver but not a show truck. The body is straight and solid, the bed has a wood floor with the chrome strips. The Interior is in great condition. The Seat, carpets and headliner are like new and all the glass is in good shape. All windows and doors work and operate with ease. The paint is ok but is faded and has been touched - up in places. ( See Pictures ) The truck is owned by my father who is a retired auto mechanic. He has owned this ford for two years and has replaced anything it needed to make it a nice driver. He has alot of fun driving and playing with this toy but wants to sell it to make room for some new toys. My father has installed a New EZ Wireing Harnness and Gage Cluster in the past few months and the odometer reads 02557 miles on it. I Have a Low Reserve on this Great Driver.
