Looking at a 2003 Acura TL 3.2L Type S, I am the second owner and my mother was the first. This car has been babied for it's entire life. Around 101,000 the transmission gave out (there is a recall on this and Acura said they "fixed" the problem, obviously they didn't...) and I replaced it with an Acura Factory rebuilt transmission (still under warranty). The title is clear, there are a few dings and dents, not unusual for a car 7 years old and a double scratch on the trunk. Other than the tranny, I have had no problems with this car, and now the new transmission is in, if you can't get another 200,000 miles out of this car you are doing something TERRIBLY wrong. If you are looking at another TL with this kind of mileage, you should keep in mind that the transmission is probably about to go, and Acura will say "Ahh, that's too bad, yes we know it has problems but all we can do for you is sell you a new one" and snicker all the way to the bank. Let my loss be your gain. Just had the interior professionally detailed, and get the exterior cleaned once a week and waxed once a month.
