2005 BMW R1150RT LOADED! I purchased this motorcycle from Hermy's BMW with 3K,as the previous owner decided to trade it on a K1200. Yes, 2005… only a few were sold as 2005’s and they came with stainless steel fairing fasteners. This is the ultimate long distance touring adventurer, especially fitted for comfort and long distance capabilities. The color is Titan Grey, has 26K accident free miles, and is in excellent/outstanding cosmetic and riding condition. In addition, it has been maintained by a BMW dealer since new. Have records. Has had Amsoil synthetic gear oil (transmission) and Amsoil 20w50 motorcycle oil in the engine from 10K.Also has a K&N air filter. It is fitted with the following accessories; 3 BMW hard bags, 2 saddle bags and the BMW top case. Givi Maxia top case with adapter plate, carries two full face helmets. Sargent rider seat and stock seat. Front seat support with BMW shim installed to prevent the tendency of the rider to slide forward. Ohlins shocks, front and rear Ztechnik exhaust and stock exhaust Techlusion tuning chip.(smoothest running oilhead ever!) This bag is weathered but fully functional. Also, comes with a rain cover. If the motorcycle sells with the “Buy it now option”, I’ll include a medium Big Mak tank bag, with an additional mount, (even though you’ll only need one), and loaded with an Autocom communication system, as follows; Autocom M1 communication system for rider and passenger, with vox and bike on/off switch, a kenwood professional radio(12FMRS bands)for bike to bike communication, one amplifier and set up for a phone hook up/gps and a satellite radio/MP3 etc. The Kenwood radio is powered through the bike and no batteries are required for any of the components. Also, there’s a BMW plug connected to the bag that activates the whole system. Finally, I’ll include two headsets(5 pin I believe)that you can attach to a rider and passenger helmets. All in all, well over $4000 worth of accessories…. I’m a 56 year old experienced rider that has lost interest in the sport…long story… You won’t be able to find a better cared for or in better running condition motorcycle, and as such, prior to bidding, you’re encouraged to stop by and check the motorcycle and even take it for a ride around the block.
