What a damn shame… . We have owned this 1997 Toyota Land Cruiser for the past 13 years and it performed flawlessly. The 40th Anniversay model is still a head turner and people wonder if it is brand new.A few weeks ago the engine had a miss in it and we found out the engine needed some work. They took it apart and found some problems. Here is a 1997 Toyota Landcrusier four wheel drive that has engine problems, I have no idea why it happened as it ran fine for me. Now it has to be towed away.The timing belt was changed at Toyota and the car was serviced at the same Toyota dealership here in Easton but this one needs an engine man. The body is near perfect with no dents or marks of any consequence, no rust and the original paint is in excellent condition and this one looks really nice when washed up. The interior is in nice shape showing no signs of abuse and typical of a non smokers car, no burn marks, rips or tears, a nice tight and clean headliner and cargo area and aside from the usual stress cracks on the drivers seat, no complaints and no bad smells. The car is loaded up with extras like a cd changer, moon roof, and the car was a pleasure to drive prior to the engine incident. If you were looking at all wheel drive vehicles then Toyota is your first choice, Here is a nice one and you can take advantage of me as I guess I have to sell the car with no reserve and take my lumps so thanks for looking and good luck with the auction.
