Vehicle Detail

1992 1/2 Ford Mustang Summer Special Limited Edition 1 of 2019 produced (Mustang Red Book Fourth edition, last paragraph 1992 section). Extremely solid and sound 302 V8 5.0L mated to a 5 speed manual transmission. Two mature adult owners since new, all original documents included with sale , i.e, Showroom sales brochure, original temporary permit ,finance documents, dealer literature, owners manual , convertible boot cover etc.. We originally purchased this car from the original owner early fall of 2005 and sold it too the 2nd owner in late October 2005. The car was rarely driven by owner #2 (approx. 2500 miles ) and always garage kept. We were contacted almost 5 years later by the 2nd owner , explaining too us that she had contracted cancer and would like for us to re-purchase the car back from her. We did so and are now offering the car again for sale. Just as the previous owners had, we have also kept this vehicle in a controlled environment inside our garage. I drive this car myself from time to time and it never has seen bad weather in both times we have been in possession of it. We also do not have any climate issues here in western Colorado like high humidity which promotes rust and deterioration of the paint. Our roads are not salted in the winter and we receive very little snowfall here in the desert southwest. Everything is in good working order and this vehicle functions as it should. The cold a/c is just about gone and will need a fresh charge come spring time most likely. Equipped with power windows , locks, tilt, cruise, and power mirrors and driver seat. The convertible top was replaced a few months ago and this includes a new glass back window that came with the replacement top. The cost was somewhere around $750 and it looks great. The interior is completely original and shows minimal signs of wear, the most of which is on the drivers seat . Complete leather seating was standard on these cars all the way down too the black leather piping running on the edges of the seats. This was not available on any other Mustang, just the Summer Special. Full white leather with Black leather piping-not vinyl . Unlike most newer cars that have pleather or a split combination of leather and vinyl, this Mustang is the real deal front and back. If you happen to research this car you will find that no other Mustangs produced by The Ford Motor Company were made like this. The rear spoiler was made of blow molded plastic at G.E Norel and painted to match the rest of the car. all of the moldings and exterior trim, like the bumpers and mirrors were painted too match as well. The wheels were done by Superior in Kansas City, Mo., and painted a very unique white opal pearlescent. This car also has a very rare dealer installed roll bar with functioning rear brake light mounted inside. No other 1992 1/2 Summer Specials I have ever seen in magazines or on the net has had this feature. Mechanically this car is super solid, and original. The factory plug wires are still visible under the hood and the date is displayed on them. This car has an exceptionally clean Auto Check history report with no mention of accidents , repairs or negative marks to its historical background. The tire are a performance grade and in good condition. This Mustang is a blast too drive and handles the road like a solid performance car should. The miles are approx. 114,000 now and looks and drives like it has 15,000. I drive this car and would take it anywhere, it's that nice. Check out the pics and see for yourself. Feel free to call me , I would be more than happy to discuss any aspect of this Mustang with you . After which, you will likely have the peace of mind you need and the full understanding of what this cool little convertible has to offer you. 970-260-6020 That's my personal cell# and I own the company.
