It has been modified to include a higher performance cam, and puts out approximately 400 hp. Featuring strong high end torque, this car is very fast and fun to drive. On Dec-02-10 at 15:40:27 PST, seller added the following information: The following is additional information being provided in response to inquiries that have been made on the 1967 Satellite convertible: - 727 Torque Flite Transmission and 3.23 Sure Grip Rear End (Posi) - NOM 383 engine has a correct year block, and correct 1967 383 head casting numbers bored to .060. - Engine includes Comp Cam (not overly large and has a very nice lope at idle which is really cool), new timing chain, Crane Gold (adjustable) rocker arms, and Performer RPM Intake. - Engine also includes Edelbrock 800 CFM carburetor, with electonic choke. - Heads were pocket ported for improved flow, and a larger intake and exhaust valves were installed, as well as hardened exhaust seats. - Subframe connectors were added correctly as to allow for proper use of parking brake. - New rear hemi springs and shocks were added for a nice firm ride. - The interior, carpet, and top boot a new, and the convertible top is in very good shape. - Body and paint are in good shape, with only a few minor chips and dings, and a few small scratches. - Paint shines in a beautiful red as can be seen in the pictures, but not top show quality and a bit heavy. I would describe it as a "five footer." - Paint is correct factory red, with maroon interior panels. It is my understanding this is correct for the period, but you may want to check. - Trunk, floors, and body mounts very solid. - New rubber added to doors, trunk, and top. Again, this car is fast and fun. It can easily wind up to 6200 rpm and bury the needle if you had the guts to push it...which I do not! I hope that this additional information helps. Thanks
