2003 Dodge Ram 2500 6 Cyl CUMMINS TURBO DIESEL. Long bed 4X4 4 (FOUR) DOOR. Gooseneck hitch (lays down). Electric brake controller. Reese hitch. Wiring in bed for goose neck trailer. Power/heated flip out towing mirrors-factory. A/C, CD, Cruise, Power seat-Windows-Door locks (keyless entry). Overhead console with temp, compass, mpg, etc......auto dimming rear view mirror, chrome step tubes (new). Truck is for sale locally as well. If you are looking for this type of a truck you have already done your homework, so you know what it is. A brute of a workhorse that does not know when to stop. The truck lived its entire life except for the time I have owned it, less then 1 yr, in TEXAS. It was owned by a large plumbing retail store and used to haul a goose neck trailer loaded with plumbing supplies, IE. large length pipe, to job sites. I have been an auto technician for 18 yrs so what I about to list is things done because I love to have everything I own in the best condition possible. Preventative maintainence is something that makes a vehicle last a lifetime. The good: Engine, Transmission in 100% perfect operating order. 4X4 is smooth in and out. Does not use or leak ANY fluids. What has been done: New tires with newer wheels from a 2007 Ram, outer tie rods, inner tie rods and 4 wheel alignment 6,000 miles back. Cooper Discoverer LT 285/70R17 white letter. Transmission fluid and filter changed with a drain plug installed in trans pan for future service. New fuel lift pump, new fuel heater, service power steering system (flushed), fluids changed front and rear differentials, valves adjusted, new serpentine belt, new idler pulley, new thermostat with cooling system flush, OEM running lights installed, OEM keyless entry installed both plug and play MOPAR items. All items including fluids come from local DODGE dealer. I only have used genuine mopar, or cummins replacement parts and fluids. This truck has been babied from bumper to bumper to insure it will provide years of trouble free service. Absolutly NO RUST anywhere. I have installed brand new from turbo back performance exhaust. I have the origional exhaust that will go with the truck which is still in perfect condition. Remember this is a TEXAS truck and to this point has never seen snow or any road salt. The Bad. It has a small dent in the pass bedside at the top of bed (see pic). It has a small dent in rear bumper (see pic). Small dent in tailgate (see pic). The area behind the rear tires on the lower body panels has some rock chips (see pics). Thats it folks. For a 2003 it is in fantastic shape inside and out. REASON FOR SELLING........ I retired from auto mechanics 2 yrs ago and opened a small business in my hometown. I live 5 blocks from my business and i do not want to continue to start this truck and run a few blocks only to shut it off again. When I purchased it I had intentions of buying a camper trailer but have since then decided against that. I do not pull, or haul anything with it. I completly went thru this truck with the intentions of using it to haul, but have yet to hook it up to anything. It has provided me with 100% trouble free driving. It is very smooth and enjoyable to drive but I am doing it more harm then good by making short 5 block trips with it and the occasional 10 mile trip into our neighboring town. I bought this truck from Greenville Chrysler in Greenville Texas on 02/2010 with 157450 miles on it.If you e mail me I WILL respond within 24 hrs. No factory wiring was cut, spliced or tied into and it is stuck in the cubby hole storage space so their will be no evidence of the install once removed.
