Perfect car to drive and fix up in your spare time! True RM21 Plymouth Road Runner, NOT A CLONE! When was the last time you saw a decent running project car that hadnt been taken apart yet! My nephew and I bought this car to fix up as he drove it and we have done lots to it but nephew ran into a situation where he needs to sell it and cant afford to fix it up. Numbers matching 340 engine 4barrel, newly rebuilt automatic transmission (HD), standard rear end, Factory AC car and all parts there but does not work. new front brakes, new caliper, New master cylinder, tune up, new rear tires, Would take very little to make daily driver. Was apparently stored under a tarp from previous owner who was working to restore it, moisture under tarp caused some surface rust and minor pitting in areas, car is surprisingly very SOLID for a car this age, frame rails and floors solid, we replaced the drivers side front floor pan due to rust so thats done rest of floors solid, only other major rust issues we see are the holes in the rear quearters around wheel well (typical) but the inner fender wells are in good workable shape. some small rust areas on outer edges of the trunk floor extension. Car does have a cracked windshiled and needs replacing. car is solid around rear windshield (usually they rust out there) very solid car to fix up. Car was originally silver with red stripe. Engine seems fine and doesnt smoke, car sat with old gas in it so altho I flushed the fuel system the Thermoquad seems gummed up, I am a GM guy so havent dealt with the Mopar carbs. Can start and hear car run but would advise it be trailered to new home as opposed to trying to drive it a long distance until the Carb is rebuilt and adjusted right. Needs new headliner and bew carpet, a coat of primer and cleaned up some and car would look really cool! Great starter project!!! TRADES CONSIDERED!!! Need a car for my daughter to drive! On Nov-28-10 at 17:56:21 PST, seller added the following information: added picture of motor vin number, and found that car has rear sway bar and apparently the 8 3/4 rear end, bolts on differential are in the front.
