For Sale is a 1981 Pontiac Trans Am. This is an original 4 speed t top car, it came out with a 5.0L Chevy V8 & a fine spline Muncie 4 speed. both components are long gone , so the car is being sold with no engine or transmission. However the body is in great shape & the entire car is in black primer with very little body work to be done. This car ran recently, but the previous owner removed his engine & transmission before selling it. It is ready to drop in the drivetrain of your choice. He also replaced the front & rear bumpers & light assemblies with those from a 78 Trans Am as he was building a bandit clone . The front windshield has been removed so the car is being kept inside, the rest of the glass is in great shape. the interior is dated but in fair shape.There are extra parts to go along with the car as well, mostly trim pieces. Other options include power steering, power brakes, front & rear disc brakes. Included is a set of like new 15x7 Weld Racing aluminum wheels with good rubber. For those of you that know , this is the last year of this body style & a 4 speed car this late is a little rare. It would make a great restoration or driver with very little investment. In the next 5 to10 years this car will start to see great gains in value, making it a wise investment now. I bought this car with intentions of restoring it but have too many other projects, so i am selling all but a few. Car will be sold to the highest bidder with NO RESERVE.
