goldengunman store Very Rare, true MINI Cooper S Car is in driving condition, new clutch,clutch master and slave cylinders. VERY FAST, original engine bored out to 1380cc, Jack Knight straight cut gearbox. VERY FAST, I have owned this car for 4 years, but only brought it into Canada, last year from the UK. The dockers at Liverpool docks, decided there were many 'goodies' in the car, that they wanted and thought nothing of removing the interior, and dash board, and leaving it as was. I have since replaced all the missing parts, but not yet fitted them. (parts included with sale) I have replaced the clutch and associated cylinders, and the car is roadworthy, for short 'hops' it needs sorting and going through. The dockers also stole the wheels and new tires that I had bought for the car,and fitted, so the wheels and tires on the car now,are a set of ultra rare WOLFRACE alloys, but the tires are 30 years old. I have bought a set of BRAND NEW Revolution mags,(also 10"), with brand new FALKEN tires, comlete with lug nuts etc, which if the car sells for the 'Buy it now' price, I will include,(they cost me over $1000) So there you have it, please study the pictures, the car is almost totally original, I have a ROKEE wooden dash board for the car, race seats, new rubber set, SUNDYM factory tinted glass for the whole car. There was a vinyl roof on the top of the car, which was trapping moisture and has caused slight rusting to the roof panel. I removed the vinyl and left the roof as you see it now. The original WEBASTO sunroof works as it should. All in all, an HONEST description of a REAL MINI Cooper S not some mis-described Mini that someone calls a Cooper. The Mark III Cooper S was the last Mini product to carry John Cooper's name, until the ROVER group, re-established the model in the early 1990's. The only reason I am selling the car, is I have an MGB GT restoration that is taking up all my time,and rather than let the mini sit idle for a couple of years, let someone else have a go. The car is eligible for import to the USA, and I will assist with shipping, but the cost of shipping is up to the new owner. I have a very reasonable 'Buy it Now' price,(considering the wheels and tire that will be included with this option), and the reserve is also very reasonable, compared to what most sellers on here are asking for their "Coopers"!
