Vehicle Detail

Very Rare 1963 Oldsmobile 98 Convertible Parts Car or if you are an experienced Welder you could restore this car. The box frame is rusted to the point it cannot be driven. All of the chrome is in very good condition and could save you thousands of dollars if you are restoring one that has bad chrome. The body panels are straight and it does not apear to have been in any wrecks. The leather seats are in good condition, except the lower back seat has cracking, but could use some moistureing protection to soften the leather. The dash is very good and the door panels are good. It has a very dirty and greasy 394 engine that starts and runs good. It has no brakes and can't be driven because you can not stop it. I bought this car to restore. I pictured this awesome 20 footer with shiney white paint crusing down the highway. The previous owner said the only thing wrong with it was the brakes so I had it delivered to a repair shop. When they went to jack it up they saw that the 4 corners of the car were going up but the middle was not going up . They looked underneath and saw that 3 sides of the box frame were rusted and missing. I tried contacting the seller who would not respond and then I contacted ebay's Buyer Protection service. I knew the car was not covered for reimbursement because it was more than ten years old but I thought they would at least contact the seller or take some kind of action bacause the seller lied and misrepresented his item but ebay blew me off and I guess the seller can keep on cheating other people as long as the cars are over 10 years old. I hate to see this car parted out but it would take alot of welding or putting it on a different frame to do it. I do not have the room to do this in fact I don't have room for a car that can't be driven at my house. I intended on driving it while restoreing it. The chrome alone is worth more than what I am asking, I am just trying to get back some of my money. NO RESERVE
