Vehicle Detail
This is a 1958 Buick Super. It has 47,000 original miles. I purchased this car from an elderly person that owned the car for 50 years. He mostly took it to car shows and parades. It has always been garaged and well cared for. It is all original. It has the original paint which is a 1958 Buick rare option color. The interior is all original and in excellent condition. The dash is not cracked or damaged. I don't believe the back seat has ever been sat in. The only wear in the upholstery is on the driver's front seat where the driver slid in and out. The headliner is original and excellent. The car has a current clear Wisconsin title in my name. The engine compartment is clean and looks like new. The trunk is also original. The instruction tag is still on the jack. There is no rust or rust repairs to the floors or trunk of the car. The undercarriage and frame also seem to be in excellent condition, with only normal surface rust. As I indicated, the paint is all original on the car. It is still very bright and shiny, and not faded. The chrome is all original and very nice. It has a couple of minor scrapes on the lower side of the car, probably from getting too close to the garage door. The tires are a little older, but have a lot of tread on them. Everything works on the car including the radio, gauges, and lights. The windows roll up and down easily. All of the locks work. Even the cigarette lighter works. The windshield wipers do go a little on the slow side. The car runs really good. There are no exhaust leaks. It does not drip fluids on the garage floor. I had the gas tank removed and professionally cleaned. Also, the carburetor was rebuilt ($200.00). The brakes were also recently gone through. As I have indicated, the car is all original, so it does have a few signs of wear here and there such as a minor scratch or nick. If you have any questions or need further pictures, please let me know before you bid. I am not a professional mechanic or body man, but I will try to answer all questions as honestly as I possibly can. You are also welcome to come and inspect the car and take it for a ride, weather permitting. I am starting the bidding at $1.00 and there is no reserve on the car, so it will be sold to the high bidder at the end of the auction. Again, please ask any and all questions you may have before bidding. I accept payment in the form of cash or bank to bank transfer only.On Nov-23-10 at 09:33:48 PST, seller added the following information: I have had inquiries about a time frame for the purchaser to pick up the car. There would be no rush to pick up the car. It will be kept safely in my heated garage next to my house until arrangements can be made.
