This cute little sports car is registered, inspected, and insured, and it runs very well. There are very few problems with this car. But the two of us have five vehicles and it’s time to sell the one that’s driven the least these days.1990 was the first model year of the Miata. This one was built in Hiroshima, Japan and shipped to an American dealer in June 1989... only the second month of delivery in the US. It was the 10,039th production car made out of a total of 807,290. We’ve had it since 2001 and have driven it less than 13,000 miles since then.This car has always “run like a top”. It’s a very smooth engine which gives great acceleration. Come take it for a test drive and check it out! Other pluses are: the roof was replaced last year (at a cost of about $500), and it has a new battery. Comes with manual, jack, and removable radio with CD player. And it comes with a fairly new car cover.On the negative side, because the car was stored every winter there is a musty/mothball odor inside. The moth balls were to keep mice out. The hood and trunk lid have several small dings (see last photo for a few of them). The gear shift boot has a hole the size of a golf ball. There is no spare tire.The mileage is now 85,150 miles, which may rise a small amount if people test drive the car. The CarFax report has no red flags such as accidents (report included with sale). Car is sold AS-IS with no warranties expressed or implied. Car will be sold without license plates as it will be your responsibility to arrange insurance and transport.
