I have owned this truck for around 3 years after buying it from a fellow in TX that had been using it as a daily driver. I intended to make it into a hunting truck/mud toy but never could make myself chop up a rare and beautiful older Toyota in such good condition. I would not be afraid to drive it to California tomorrow if need be. -1981 Toyota SR5 4x4 -Odometer shows 48,XXX miles, I would assume that it is 148,000 but have no way to prove or disprove. -5 speed -22r with Weber 32/36 -Does not burn or leak oil, holds good oil pressure and is easily cranked. -Cold AC and hot heat -Roll on bedliner in bed and under carpet -Truck has been repainted to original paint scheme. -Only known rust is a bubble about the size of a quarter on the tailgate. -Only known body work done along with new paint is a limb fell on the hood/right fender. These pieces were replaced, not repaired. Only way of telling any damage is a small amount of body filler under the hood. -Tires are around 40% The interior needs a little attention, there are no speakers in the doors, no radio, and that dash is a little cut up. These trucks are few and far between, and when you do find one, it is either rusted beyond belief or all cut up and beat up from abuse. Truck is being sold AS-IS, with no warranty written or implied. Buyer is responsible for pick-up.
