I am selling my good old faithful OLDS mini van in AS IS condition. The van suffered front end damage when I rear ended a new SUV at a traffic light. I was doing about 15 mph when the brake line along the frame broke, popped, whatever, in spite of my having had new brakes installed for inspection 20 days earlier. I didn't carry comprehensive insurance on the van so I decided not to get it repaired. I never even got an estimate for repair. I just decided to let it go. I'm certain that it is fixable though. So whether you are buying this van to repair, for parts, to crush, whatever, there are some positive things to note. The best thing is that a new head gasket was done on the motor about 20K miles ago and the motor runs with full power and didn't burn a drop of oil between oil changes. Also, during the time I drove this van I had a new water pump and alternator installed. Last summer the air conditioner didn't hold a charge very long and I never fixed that. The transmission always shifted smoothly and has no issues that I'm aware of. In addition to the fresh brake work I've mentioned above, there are new shocks on the rear for recent inspection. The tires are good Michelins, 3 of them still have good tread and the 4th is much newer. I didn't include pictures of the interior-- I'll email you some if you really need to see that. The seats are cloth and there's a little burn hole on the drivers seat. I have the second row seats but not the 3rd row. The carpet on the floor up front is stained with coffee spills. I'd say the interior is a little below average in cleanliness but not horrible. I have looked at vans that people said were very clean and they were worse than this one. You are buying this vehicle as is. I have a clear title in hand for the new owner. This is not a drivable vehicle as it sits so you will have to pick it up or make arrangements to have it picked up. It's currently parked at a friends garage in Lebanon, PA and can be seen there. It must be moved within 10 days of the end of the auction.
