I am relisting the mustang due to a scammer using "Buy It Now" and tried to send me something from the U.K. then deleted his ebay account.Please do not waste my time with the scamming non-sense..this is business!!!!! ok guys i have a 88 mustang 5.0 for sale that has been converted to Mass Air.I installed a A9P computer for the swap and yes this car is an original 5.0 car but it was born speed density.The AOD transmission shifts thru all 4 gears flawlessly.Motor starts on a dime and doesnt throw a lick of smoke.While i was doing the mass air conversion i decided to do a few upgrades. here is a YouTube link of the car running...http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9sybQb6CoZ4 Installed: Fresh GT40 heads Explorer Intake and yes the ACT sensor on the number #5 intake runner was tapped. TrickFlow Stage 1 cam 3G Alternator upgrade...no more charging problems. 3200stall RevMaxx torque converter Transmission Oil Cooler The convertible top is not the best looking but it doesnt have any holes and does not leak.Heater core is bypassed was like that wen i got the car and never even checked to see if it was plugged.All a/c components are still on the car and just needs a charge to get cold.Door hinges are wearing and could use some new ones one day.The windows will need a few of the plastic bushings that 5.0 resto sells..less than $15 bucks worth of bushing..never bothered to fool with it.Convertible top raises and closes fast and smoothly.Car was originally a white car but was painted burgundy base coat clear coat at one time in its life.Has brand new headlights.The fuel pump sending unit is bad the guage always reads full.Also i have the matching convertible top boot. The pony wheels are in good condition with meaty tires.driver side door has a little 2 inch section of rust trying to bubble through the paint but not bad at all and very much fixable.the door panels will need a little attention.The stock 22yr old flexplate may have been cracked when i installed the stall converter but didnt catch it until trans was back up.make a little noise in the flexplate area sometimes,but be assured its not engine noise at all.just didnt feel like dropping the trans again just to check it out.If your looking for a decent 5.0 mustang to play around with without spending more than 4 grand, this car is for you This car is 22yrs old and is by no means a show car and will still need a little TLC and the remaining bugs worked out.I have a clean and clear Tennessee title...Any more questions just ask..Thanks Also i have the right to end auction early as the car is for sale locally.On Nov-03-10 at 18:56:06 PDT, seller added the following information:UPDATE!!!!!!...the issue i thought was the flexplate has been solved i believe.turned out that the old radiator that was flowing well,was actually no good.it was rotted internally and kept ruining fresh coolant turning it brown from the rust.so last nite i installed a smack brand new radiator and the car now runs about 2 notches cooler than it ever has.also i guess the radiator was not properly cooling the trans fluid causing the torque converter to make the noise it was making from the boiling trans fluid.i romped on it pretty much all day and the converter didnt make one nice and even shifts better.and the cars temp guage never moved even after having a little fun on the expressway.so all this time it was just an old radiator causing all the havoc....so bid away knowing that the trans doesnt have to be pulled...good day.On Nov-04-10 at 15:47:46 PDT, seller added the following information:Update #2.......This auction is about to come to an end so, if you are new to ebay or have zero feedback you will be blocked from bidding unless you contact me first.Sorry for the inconvience but its to help keep me from wasting my time because of the scamming.Thanks.dash is apart to do heater core but unfinished.dont have time
